Process Technician, Packaging

The state-of-the-art, brand new Bluetongue Brewery, will produce up to 1 million bottles per day, which if laid end to end would stretch from the Brewery to the Sydney CBD. . . . . . and all of those empty bottles (500 pallets per day)need to be filled, labelled and packaged.

The primary role of a Process Technician in the Packaging team at Bluetongue is the operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of quality checks and carrying out of routine maintenance and cleaning. 90% of this position will involve machine operation and cleaning.

We are looking for a trade qualified fitter or electrician who is keen to learn, has a high energy level and will be committed to the performance of the team. Knowledge of packaging plant equipment and the maintenance process would be beneficial.

Working with a committed team of Warehouse Operators, Brewers, Brewing Technicians and many others – your key accountabilities will revolve around Operating and Process Control, Maintenance of Plant and Equipment, Quality Control and Analyses, Communication, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement and Housekeeping and Safety.

In this role, you must be available to work a flexible shift pattern including nights and weekends.
