Brewers and beer lovers from here and around the world are being invited to Hop Products Australia’s second Virtual Harvest from March 3 where topics explored will range from carbon neutral beer, experimental hop sensory analysis, the art and science of beer recipe design and the fascination with fresh hop beers.

Thursday 3 March 2022, 9am – Welcome
The official opening and an opportunity to get to know HPA’s business and the team behind their hops.

Thursday 10 March, 9am – Toward a Carbon Neutral Future of Beer
With guest speakers Lion’s group environment director Justin Merrell and University of Tasmania climate research fellow Dr Thomas Remenyi.

Thursday 17 March, 9am – From Hop Discovery to Beer Recipe Design
With guest brewers Ben Kraus and James Dittko from Bridge Road Brewers.

Thursday 24 March, 9am – Victorian Farm Tour
Take a look around HPA’s Victorian hop farms in the foothills of Mount Buffalo and learn about the farms’ connection to the Gold Rush and meet the team behind their crop.

Thursday 31 March, 9am – The Fascination with Fresh Hop Beers
With guest brewers Reid Stratton and David Stokie from Bright Brewery.
