The liquor industry’s best and brightest donned their best Hollywood-inspired duds to celebrate for another year.

The beer industry was well represented again this year with awards handed out for both on-premise and off-premise products and outlets. Coopers were the big winners on the day – another feather in their cap for their anniversary year – taking out all bar two of the beer categories in which they were entered, as well as two of the major awards on the night – Best Liquor Brand and Liquor Promotion of the Year – the later for their 150th Anniversary Celebration campaign.

Coopers were edged out of the Best Craft Beer title – coming second to recent Lion acquisition Little Creatures – as well as earning a well deserved second place in the Best New Product category – where they were narrowly edged out by Crystal Head Vodka. Hotel of the year went to The Beresford and well-known foodie haunt Four in Hand took out the Best Bar Food category.
