According to their blog, the lads at the Sydney-based Malt Shovel Brewery have got stuck into a few renovations and are working on some shiny new equipment – and waiting for more to arrive.
The new gear that has already gone in includes some new fermentation tanks and a new refrigeration plant, along with an upgrade in their yeast management and trade waste handling systems. And if that wasn’t enough, they have also further enhanced their PLC control systems.
Now they are just waiting on some other ‘toys for the boys’ in the form of a new pasteuriser and carbonator as well as a bigger steam boiler.
With all that soon up an running the brews for the festive season will soon be kicking out the door.
