Former Triple J Unearthed artist, Lanie Lee has been announced as one of the headline acts for Bitter and Twisted 2013, joining bluegrass quintet Quarry Mountain Dead Rats, reggae funk outfit Bakoomba, triple didgeridoo artist Richard Perso and original local artist De’May.

Lanie has charmed Australian audiences with her quirky and sassy style, with the release of her self-produced album, ‘To the Horses’ proving popular among music lovers. Her distinctive voice will grace the stage on Saturday 2 November at Maitland Goal for the Hunter’s premier beer event, Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival.

The two-day festival will also feature a number of breweries, including 4 Pines, Blue Sky Brewery, Grand Ridge Brewery, Hunter Beer Co, Little Creatures Brewing Co, Mudgee Brewing Co, Red Island Brewing and the Six String Brewing Company. Also back by popular demand is the Bavarian Beer Breakfast, lunch events and a wide array of international food stalls.
