After founding Marin Brewing then Moylan’s Brewery, Brendan Moylan set about realising his dream to create America’s finest small-batch
craft whisky. To do so he opened Moylan’s Distillery / Stillwater Spirits in Petaluma,

And now after resting in oak, the whiskys are to be released with Moylan’s Cask Strength Bourbon Whisky – Aged Four Years in new American White Oak (60.8% ABV) – hitting Australian shores.

According to the official tasting notes, the spirit has “aromatics of rich vanilla and freshly toasted
coconut” while the “brilliant golden-amber
hue promises a delicious, elegant complexity of faint coffee bean and restrained
citrus sweetness.”

According to Jim Murray’s Whiskey Bible “…These guys certainly know how to distil: technically an
excellent whisky. Yet another very high quality distillate from this truly
promising distillery”.
