The Intermedia Group is looking for an outstanding sales manager to lead two drinks titles to new commercial heights. The successful candidate will have great social skills, know how to sell, be passionate about beer and bars and want to absorb everything there is to know about the drinks industry.

Beer & Brewer is Australia’s leading cross-platform title in the beer and cider space, with particular focus on the burgeoning craft beer sector. Its print magazine, website and newsletter are read by beer enthusiasts, commercial brewers, home brewers and other members of the beer industry.
Bars & Clubs is the long-established b2b publication serving Australia’s dynamic bars and clubs sector. Its website and newsletter are read by bar owners, managers and bartenders across Australia.
As the Media Sales Manager for these titles, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship to craft brewers and drinks suppliers.
Selling across digital and print products, you will work from a well-established client base but new business development will play an important role, especially in these rapidly evolving markets.
This is a hands-on selling role requiring great social skills as you’ll need to have a drink with clients and attend events in and outside of office hours.
We are only after enthusiastic and social people that can sell. You’ll be a natural around people and have some experience in sales as a sales rep or from your hospitality background. Experience in selling events or print and digital media would be an advantage.
You will need to be able to pitch and present ideas in sales meetings and follow up with written proposals.
As a self-starter, you’ll be capable of thinking outside the box and tailoring marketing solutions to the needs of clients.
In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a competitive base salary plus superannuation, and access to an uncapped commission incentive scheme.
