The inaugural Blue Mountains Craft Beer Festival is being held at The Fairmont Resort Leura on Saturday October 15th 2011.
BMCBF is an initiative of Schwartz Brewery, founders of the ‘National Capital Craft Beer Festival’ which has been held successfully at the Schwartz Family owned ‘Olims Hotel’ for the last 4 years. Schwartz Brewery is committed to heritage, whilst paving the way for innovation in the brewing industry. This is achieved by inviting the best breweries to exhibit their wares in accommodating and picturesque surroundings.
Now that the Schwartz Family owns the iconic Fairmont Resort, which has undergone major renovations of late, it was deemed an ideal location to further promote the craft beer industry, along with an array of fresh and local produce from surrounding areas.
BMCBF provides a great platform for beer enthusiasts and the whole family can enjoy the day, as there is indeed something for everyone and as the festival slogan promises ‘MOUNTAINS OF FUN’.
