Craft brewers who want to be involved in the inaugural Willoughby Craft Beer Fair have until the end of this week to confirm with the organisers, the NLG-owned Willoughby Hotel in Sydney.

Willoughby Hotel licensee John McGurk says he is very close to finalising the line-up of brewers for the event, which is being held on Sunday September 9.

Part of the Willoughby Council’s Annual Spring Fair, the Willoughby Craft Beer Fair aims to attract an estimated 1,000 attendees across the day.

McGurk said sales of craft beers are strong at Willoughby Hotel, which currently has on tap the full range of James Squire beers, as well as Matilda Bay Fat Yak and Kosciuszko Pale Ale.

The festival will feature at least other ten boutique brewers as well as the Lion and Foster’s owned outfits.

Brewers’ commitment is free of charge from stall fees, which will be covered by Willoughby Hotel.

Brewers will be asked to provide staff on the day of the event for the purpose of assisting with product tastings and educating event attendees. Tasting stock for the day will also be provided by stall holders.
