In its tenth year since founding the Pink Boots Society Australia has announced it will mark the milestone with 10 separate collaboration brew days.

Kicking off in April, the Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Days will take place in seven states throughout the year and feature a world-first Pink Boots Society gin creation collaboration day. The theme to tie these together will be “highlighting courageous conversations”.

“We started Pink Boots in Australia in 2012 with an incredible group of women, and we’re excited to collaborate with members, women and non-binary individuals to now be celebrating our 10th anniversary in Australia,” President Tiffany Waldron said.

“We wanted to find a way to include as many members as possible, and collaboration brew days are our biggest fundraising effort every year. The board is thrilled to join in on the fun throughout Australia.”

The Australian chapter was formed five years after the US-based Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

Brew days will be announced on the Pink Boots Society Australia social media channels @pinkbootsau, Facebook.com/PinkBootsSocietyAustralia and Linkedin.com/company/pink-boots-society-australia, and they get underway with the gin making day at Brogan’s Way in Victoria on 11 April 2022.

The other producers participating in the brew days will be (dates to be confirmed):
Bodriggy Brewing Co – VIC
Blackman’s Brewing Co – Regional VIC
Ballistic Brewing Co – QLD
Shapeshifter Brewing Co – SA
Shambles Brewery – TAS
Rocky Ridge Brewing Co – WA
