Nominations for the 2023 GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beer people’s choice poll are now open.

Designed for consumers, the GABS Hottest 100 provides an opportunity for all beer enthusiasts to celebrate their favourite brews. Since 2008 it has revealed consumer trends and breweries shaping the Australian craft beer landscape as the campaign shines a light on our great industry and makes craft beer the headline conversation of the day.

From December 1 beer drinkers across the country will be asked to select, in order of preference, their five favourite craft beers of the year and as is the annual trend, they make their voices heard loud and clear! On average around 30% of the list rotates each year which is testament to the emergence of exciting brews and overall growth in craft consumption.

Australian brewery nominations are free and now open for this year’s campaign on the GABS TRADE HUB with all craft beers sold in 2023 qualifying, whether widely available around the country, or limited to a single keg that sold out in a local taproom. All beers entered must meet the eligibility criteria, including the spirit of production methods, ingredients and flavours born out the innovation of the modern craft beer revolution. All details are available at the GABS TRADE HUB.

The GABS Hottest 100 provides a great opportunity for breweries to put their range in front of thousands of potential new fans. All voters will qualify for the draw to win a share of prizes valued at $10,000.

Brewpubs can also register their venue as an official countdown host venue for the party of all parties on the 27th January 2024. It is a fantastic day to get pubs full and taps flowing while patrons enjoy the live countdowns of two of Australia’s most iconic hottest 100 songs and beer polls.

In addition to the main Hottest 100 list, GABS also releases the Hottest Indie Beers, Hottest New Beers, and Hottest Next Beers (101-200).

Breweries are urged to get nominations in before voting opens on 1st December in order to attract as many votes from fans from day one.
