Australian beer brand James Squire is celebrating a two-year partnership with MasterChef Australia with the launch of its latest special release craft beer, James Squire Limited Edition XPA.
The new XPA is described as a refreshing pale ale that has been brewed to complement any dining occasion, with aromas of tropical fruit salad such as stone fruits, ripe melons, paw paw and passionfruit.
Albertus Lombard, Brand Director – Premium at Lion Australia, says: “In one word, this beer is refreshing. It is a beautifully balanced beer with a fantastic hops combination.
“When the team was tasked with developing a limited edition XPA for our MasterChef partnership, we were immediately excited to create a product that would blend our craftmanship with all round deliciousness – the perfect companion for a cooking show.”
Speaking about the MasterChef partnership, which sets out to celebrate the art of beer and food pairing, Lombard explains that this is an exciting category for James Squire to continue its expansion into.
“This collaboration allows James Squire to showcase its passion for brewing excellence on a platform that celebrates creativity and culinary innovation. We can’t wait for viewers to experience the delicious results.
“James Squire’s portfolio of beers aren’t your run of the mill brews. They’re flavourful and balanced, a step above the others, and perfect for any occasion,” he added.
The James Squire Limited Edition XPA is available now through Coles Group stores nationally for a limited run during the current season of MasterChef Australia 2024, priced at $58 per case and $22 per six pack.
