Call for presentations at new drinks summit

The Bloody Big Drinks Summit is a new online event from Food and Beverage Media, which will offer advice, insights, information and inspiration to all involved in the drinks industry.

Brought to you by the publishers of The Shout, National Liquor News, Australian Hotelier, Beer & Brewer and Bars and Clubs, the Summit will offer content relevant to producers, marketers, retailers, publicans, bartenders and everyone in between.

The virtual event will run from Monday 25 October to Friday 29 October, and presentations are now being sought.

After the last 18 months the hospitality industry is looking for ways to operate in the most effective, efficient and successful ways, so if you have expertise, practical advice or a product that solves a problem for drinks producers or retailers, you can share your message.

The Summit will dive deep into the major categories of beers, wines and spirits but also give specific focus to key topics such as innovation and trends; sales and marketing; equality in the industry; and mental health. It will also have a series of sessions aimed at the start-up – for anyone thinking of launching a new drinks business or anyone who’s just taken the plunge.

Ideally, the Summit is looking for quality presentations delivered on video (recorded on Zoom, for example). Presentations should be between 30-45 minutes long. They should contain useful, practical tips and/or information (not just a sales pitch).

The call for presentations will close Monday 6th September 2021 and will be blind peer reviewed.
