The iconic Brooklyn Brewery has celebrated their 25th anniversary by releasing a Silver Anniversay Lager.

Described asBrooklyn Lager Intensified the brew is an 8.2% ABV Lager made withGerman Two-row Pilsner, American Two-row Pilsner, Munich and Caramel malt, and hopped withHallertauer Mittelfrueh and Saphir, Cascade and Willamette.

Served in 750mL corked bottles, the collectors item style brew will be released with four different labels throughout the course of 2013 and will retail for around $30.

The reaction to the brew at the recent Beer & Brewer dinner in Adelaide was extremely positive, and the brewery suggests pairing it with grilled meats, mushrooms, big gruyères, aged cheddar, Parmiggiano Reggiano.

While sporting a party hat for the occasion, Miro will be pouring BrooklynSilver Anniversary Lager,Black Chocolate Stout, Post RoadPumpkin Ale andSorachi Ace Saison, served with fairy bread no less!
