Bartender Magazine has announced the winners of the 2012 Bar Awards, with two Sydney lads scooping two of the biggest awards on the night. Anton Forte and Jason Scott, who own The Baxter Inn (Sydney CBD) and Shady Pines (Darlinghurst), picked up Bar of the Year (Shady Pines) and New Bar of the Year (Baxter Inn).
The Local Taphouse (Sydney) took home the trophy for Best Specialty Beer Venue, and the coveted Bartender of the Year Award was won by Greg Sanderson, from EDV in Melbourne.
