Gearing up for their second event, organisers have been working hard to make it better than ever, adding education sessions with high-profile brewers in the Eureka Marquee and an exclusive beer brewed just for the festival. Being brewed by Ballarat University – which runs a highly-regarded brewing course – it is purported to be a Golden Ale, although no further details are available just yet.
And to kick off the event there will be degustation dinner the night before, featuring six-course with 12 matched brews from the likes of: Mornington, Southern Bay, Bridge Road, Cavalier, Kooinda, The Beltz Group, Toob, Three Troupers, Hawthorn, Holgate, James Squire and Otway Estate.
Also the night before will be a relaxed meet the brewers session at the pub with Karen Golding from Red Hill Brewery, Ian Davis from Cavalier Courage and many more.
With the number of breweries participating doubling from last year, the confirmed attendees include: Holgate, James Squire, Little Creatures, Matilda Bay, Mountain Goat, Pipsqueak Cider, Yowie (King Valley), Bridge Road Brewers, Good Brew Company, True South, Otway Brewing, Mornington Peninsular, Bridge Road, Southern Bay, Kwencher, Kooinda, and Hawthorn.
Don’t forget to book tickets – this event was a sell-out in January of this year.
