China’s leading craft brewing innovator, Boxing Cat Brewery in Shanghai, has announced that their much anticipated Cat Scratched Celt beer is now pouring at the brewery’s Sinan Mansions location.
Cat Scratched Celt is a collaboration between Boxing Cat’s Brew Master Michael Jordan and The Celt Experience Brew Master Tom Newman, from Wales.
The result of a chance meeting, the brew is the result of much research into flavour profiles, creating a hoppy US West-Coast Amber beer that uses 4 distinct varieties of US hops along with caramel malts to balance the robust hop flavor.
The awarding-winning Celt Experience of Wales is known for combining modern brewing equipment with ancient Celtic brewing methods to create organic Ales and hand-crafted Lager.
The brew will also be on sale in Wales and England, under the same name and branding, through The Celt Experience and on a larger scale than in Asia.
