Western Australia’s Rocky Ridge Brewing is celebrating international IPA day with a weekend-long invitational at its Duncraig, Busselton and Brunswick venues featuring four major collaboration brews.
Visitors will get to experience new beers by Rocky Ridge in collaboration with Mountain Culture, Future Brewing, Ronin Fermentation Project and The Watering Hole Singapore – all brewed onsite at Jindong and Brunswick.
Each venue’s lineup will be uniquely its own, with the mini beer festival taking place at Rocky Ridge’s Duncraig and Busselton venues from 7-10 August, while celebrations start tomorrow at Rocky Ridge Brunswick.
Liam Marsh, Brand Manager at Rocky Ridge, said it’s a celebration of the craft and the brewing community while championing creativity and the identities of each brewery represented.
“For the designs, we wanted them to be as bold and unique as the beers themselves — so we brought in three ridiculously talented humans: Ethan Ashton, Thomas Sweetman, and Nicholas Bowen-Sant. In a world where AI is churning out cookie-cutter content, we’re dead-set on championing real artists and celebrating the creativity that goes into every can.”

Fucktangular is a nine per cent NEIPA in collaboration with New South Wales brewery Mountain Culture and is a celebration of all things hops with flavours of stone fruit and citrus bloom.
“It was all about a shared love for ridiculous, big-ass hazies, stacking all the current Rocky and Mountain Culture fav hops, and trialling some Skyfarm fruit Abstrax flavours neither of us had used before,” Marsh said.
In a first-time collaboration, Rocky Ridge also teamed up with Sydney’s Future Brewing to create Parallel Universe, a TDH Cali IPA.
Brady Hannett, Co-owner and Brewer at Future Brewing said the dry, fruit-forward brew reflects the characteristics of flavour coming from both breweries.

“We worked together on creating a recipe which reflects both breweries’ style. We both wanted a modern and clean west coast IPA which was hop saturated, very aromatic but also a respectable ABV,” he told Beer & Brewer.
At seven per cent, the team triple dry-hopped this brew with Mosaic, Strata, Kohia Nelson, Mosaic Hyperboost, and finished it with Amplifire Nelson Sauvin Hop Oil — for a high-definition, reality-splitting hop profile.
Hannett added that the team is excited to be pouring alongside some of the country’s best.
“We are stoked to be doing our first collab with the legends at Rocky Ridge and pouring some of our beers at their IPA Day event alongside some top tier breweries from around the country.”
Brewed in collaboration with California’s Ronin Fermentation Project, Thunder Pup is a DDH Hazy DIPA that is double dry-hopped with a fluffy-soft malt base of sustainable Pilsner malt, wheat, rolled wheat, and oats to create a tropical, citrus and stone fruit brew.

Marsh said the Cali-style hazy was inspired by the exciting work of Charlie Johnson, Co-founder of Ronin Fermentation Project.
“Charlie is one of the best brewers we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years, this one was about stretching the style and recipe with his magic touch.”
Finally, DANGERBABY was created in collaboration with distributors The Watering Hole Singapore, and was originally being brewed for Singapore’s Brewnanza Fest 2025.
The IPA screams sticky resin, bitter bite and peachy punch which Marsh said reflects Watering Hole’s personal flavour.

“JL [Jialiang Lim] from Watering Hole is a big part of the extended Rocky Ridge family, and the concept for this beer came straight from his love for classic, old-school IPAs. It’s a perfect counterpoint to the boundary-pushing hazies in the lineup.”
With collaborators from Sydney to Singapore, Marsh said the lineup reflects the widespread love and appreciation for IPAs.
“These beers were brewed to celebrate International IPA Day, so working with mates from all over felt natural. Whether you’re in Sydney, Singapore, California or sipping a pint in Busselton, it’s about a shared love of hops and the joy of a great IPA. They bring people together — and that’s the magic.”
The event also features tap takeovers from New Zealand brewer Garage Project; Kicks, One Drop, Bracket Brewing, Good Land, Range, Sure Brewing, Love Shack and Banks; live music, games, giveaways and some of the very best IPA brewers from all over.
Marsh emphasised that celebrating IPA day is a no brainer for Rocky Ridge.
“Honestly — is there a greater shared love in the brewing world than hops and IPAs? IPA Day is a chance to celebrate that obsession, the creativity in the style, and the way it connects brewers and drinkers everywhere. There’s been a lot of heavy stuff in beer lately, but this weekend we’re shouting: ‘How f-ing good is beer? And how f-ing good are the people making it?’”
