Heaps Normal has declared this Friday as National Half Day and has encouraged businesses to give their employees a half day off to celebrate with a Half Day Hazy.
Heaps Normal will supply participating workplaces around the country with free slabs of its Half Day Hazy, which was named Australia’s best non-alcoholic beer at the Australian Independent Beer Awards 2023.
Additionally, Heaps Normal will be popping up in several East Coast locations, giving away free Half Day Hazy tins.
Heaps Normal’s Chief of Staff Nancy Hoang explained why the brand is calling for the National Half Day.
“The last 12 months have left a lot of us looking for some relief, whether from work, our newsfeeds, our bank balances, you name it. We’re here to tell all the bosses of Australia, do the right thing and give your staff an early knock-off on Friday 1st March,” she said.
Heaps Normal have also released an email template for requesting a half day from your boss, as well as a guide on how to spend your half day. Suggested activities include an art and craft extravaganza, spending some green thumb time in the garden, or having an at-home staycation.
For businesses, the brand has also drafted a letter of support to send to your local MP, alongside a guide for activating National Half Day in the office.
