Hawkesbury Brewing Co has unveiled a new brand identity, Coasty, inspired by the pace, people, and places of Australia’s coastline.
The refreshed look will unify the brewery’s portfolio – spanning easy-drinking lagers, rich craft stouts, and ready-to-drink spirit premixes – under one consistent style and coastal attitude.
The first release under the Coasty banner is Coasty Stout, an award-winning, traditional stout given a bold new look while retaining its signature taste. Smooth and full-bodied, it delivers rich notes of chocolate, coffee, and toasted malt – a flavour profile that remains unchanged in a nod to generations of loyal stout drinkers.
Marketing Director Joanna Lynsky-Smith said the launch of Coasty represents a significant step for the business.
“Hawkesbury Brewing Co is evolving, and the Coasty range marks the next chapter in our story,” she said. “It’s our way of celebrating the communities that have always supported us, while introducing a unified identity to grow with.”
National Sales Director Mitchell Elmes emphasised that while the packaging is new, the products remain the same.
“The beers, the stouts, the premixes – the flavours you know, and love haven’t changed,” he said. “What’s changed is how we’re showing up in market – with a stronger foundation to grow awareness, expand distribution, and connect with more drinkers across Australia in a more consistent way.”
Coasty Stout is now available nationally in 500mL cans and 650mL longnecks through independent retailers and select venues.
Hawkesbury Brewing Co plans to roll out the Coasty identity across its full range in coming months, with the aim of strengthening brand recognition while maintaining the quality and flavour that have earned it a loyal following.
