Urban Alley Brewery has given one of its beers a bold new look, while also unveiling two new releases.
New release Fuschia, a 6.3 per cent West Coast IPA, is as vibrant as its namesake, hopped with the 2024 Pink Boots Blend of Krush, Simcoe, Mosaic and Chinook. Pouring gold, Fuchsia has aromas of pineapple, lavender and pine, offering lychee and tangerine flavours on the palate.
Urban Alley says: “We’ve dialled up the bitterness and a sweetness to achieve a real contrast on the palate.”
Fuschia has already received a silver medal at the 2025 Australian International Beer Awards.
In a stark contrast, the second release, Vibes, is a Best Extra Stout crafted with Victorian ingredients. Vibes comes in at 5.8 per cent ABV, single hopped with Ella and featuring a combination of local malts from Barrett Burston Malting and Joe White Maltings.
Vibes has a fruity aroma of prune and dark roast coffee beans, with hints of tiramisu and Jagermeister on the palate.
The Melbourne brewery has also given its beloved All Nighter Mid Strength Ale a makeover, previously known as All Nighter Session Ale.
Packaged at 3.5 per cent ABV, All Nighter is a crisp pale ale with a fruity hop presence, featuring a mashup of barley, wheat and oat malts that create its signature full flavour, rounded out by a light bitterness in the finish.
While fans can still expect to find the crisp, easy-drinking beer they know and love, the rebrand features a bold new design, transitioning from a black can with a blue logo to a light blue can with stronger shelf appeal.
All Nighter has been a crowd pleaser for many years and collected a number of accolades in its time, including silver medals at the 2025 Australian International Beer Awards and 2024 Australian Independent Beer Awards.
To celebrate the release of the new beers and the refreshed All Nighter, Urban Alley will host a launch party tomorrow evening at the brewery site. The event is already sold out, and Urban Alley members will receive a free beer, a complimentary tasting conducted by Head Brewer Dove Bailey, and more.
