Sydney Beer Week (SBW) is back for 2025 with an expanded line-up that promises to bring new beers, venues and events to beer fans from across Sydney and beyond.
Running from Monday 20, to Sunday 26 October and including in the Beer & Brewer Awards, Sydney Beer Week (SBW) organisers said this year will bring even more opportunities to get behind the scenes, meet the brewers and experience craft beer up close.
SBW’s Managing Director Peter Anstey told Beer & Brewer: “Beer Week is back in full swing. We’ve got over 40 events already locked in, and we are still working on the final details with a few more.
“It really does feel like it’s been a long year of planning, especially with EOIs opening back in February and lots of back-and-forth with venues. But the program is looking fantastic now, and it’s always rewarding to see it all come together after the patience it takes to get everyone’s info in.”
The organisers said that, while beer will always be the star of the show, they want SBW to also be a celebration of hospitality, culture and connection – taking the opportunity to slow down and enjoy good beer with good people.
Once again SBW will include events all over Sydney – from the Northern Beaches through the CBD, across the Inner West and beyond. Attendees can expect to see favourite events from last year return, with Anstey saying the team are building a program that has something for everyone.
“Whether you’re a seasoned craft beer enthusiast or just someone who loves a good time with great people we invite you to join us in raising a glass to the second year of Sydney Beer Week. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember,” he said.
