Eight figures from across Australia’s brewing industry have joined forces to create Support on Tap – a bold, juicy pale ale brewed with purpose.

The collaboration aims to raise funds for Rural Aid and the WA Brewers Association, supporting Australian farmers through challenging conditions. But the special release is more than just a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of Western Australia’s vibrant beer community and a reminder of the positive impact beer can have.

Backing the brew are Gage Roads, Shelter Brewing Co., Pirate Life, Bintani, Kegstar, EES Shipping, Rural Aid and the WA Brewers Association.

Ross Brown, Production Manager at Gage Roads Brew Co, says: “Like all great ideas, the plan for Support on Tap came together over a few beers amongst the stunning hop fields of Nelson. We’re stoked to collaborate with some of the best in the biz to support our mates in rural Australia and showcase what WA’s beer community is all about: coming together.”

This 5.1 per cent pale ale is brewed with a blend of Aussie and specialty malts, including Joe White Maltings West Coast Pale Malt and a touch of Vienna, malted wheat and Weyermann® Carapils®. Support on Tap is loaded with punchy NZ Hops Ltd. Nectaron® hops, backed by zesty Citra and finished with Abstrax Quantum Brite NRN hop extract for a clean, bright pour.

The result is a vibrant pale ale with notes of ripe pineapple, passionfruit, guava and citrus, balanced by a lean malt character and a well-rounded bitterness.

Support on Tap is now pouring across participating venues, with funds going directly to Rural Aid and the WA Brewers Association initiatives.
