Exclusive German style beers and authentic German food at BentSpoke’s Braddon BrewPub & Mitchell Cannery for Oktoberfest
Because you can’t travel this year, BentSpoke is celebrating Oktoberfest in Canberra! At the Braddon BrewPub from the 29th of September to the 5th of October, and at the Cannery in Mitchell on the 3rd and 4th of October.
At the brew pub enjoy four specially brewed German style beers paired with German food by head chef Bernd Brademann. Food specials include a pork knuckle katsu sandwich, Hanchen and Knodel. For the brave, there will also be a Bentwurst (currywurst) heat challenge – take on the hottest and earn a free beer.
On the 3rd and 4th of October, BentSpoke will celebrate Oktoberfest at the Cannery in Mitchell. The 12-tap container bar will be pouring 12 BentSpoke beers, including four specialty German style beers. They will also have BentSpoke 1 litre steins available for the festival so you can get your first stein filled with Morts Gold. To accompany the beer, The Masters of Oompah and German Music Show Band will be providing authentic German music and classic Oktoberfest experiences. German food specials including pork, sauerkraut and sausage will be served all weekend. The specialty beers for both events include Farrah’s Wheat (Hefeweizen), Goat (Doppelbock), Mort’s Gold (German Pilsner) and Oscar the Rauch (Rauch bier.) BentSpoke’s line up of IPAs and limited release beers will also be on tap at both events.
