Coopers launches limited-edition Supercars can

Coopers Brewery has deepened its partnership with Supercars, unveiling a limited-edition Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars can that will launch to coincide with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 later this month.

The new commemorative can will debut exclusively at the event from 24–26 October and will be available in the main public bars and corporate areas at Surfers Paradise, where around 200,000 racegoers are expected to attend.

Coopers Dry 3.5 is a mid-strength, low-carb, low-gluten lager and the commemorative design was created in collaboration with packaging supplier Orora, using the latest Helio digital printing technology, one of the first cans in the market to feature the process.

Coopers Managing Director Michael Shearer said: “Orora really pushed the boundaries on this design to make the can standout with a broad spectrum of colour and unique texture.

“The end result is a great looking can that holds a great tasting beer. The Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars can is truly unique and sure to become a collector’s item among race goers and beer can enthusiasts.”

Coopers became the Official Beer, Cider, and Non-Alcoholic Beer Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship earlier this year under a three-year sponsorship agreement. The partnership grants Coopers exclusive pourage rights at most Supercars events, offering fans a selection of the brewery’s core range, including Coopers Dry 3.5, Coopers Zero, and Coopers Original Pale Ale.

Jamie Black, Supercars Chief Revenue Officer, said the release is a milestone in the partnership.

“The launch of the Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars commemorative can is a fantastic celebration of our partnership,” she said.

“It’s a bold, bright, innovative design that reflects the energy of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and the passion of our fans. We’re proud to work with Coopers to bring this unique keepsake trackside.”

The 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 runs from October 24–26 on the streets of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise, where the exclusive can will make its first appearance.
