Never mind post-festive abstinence, the folks behind the annual World Series of Beer Pong have kicked off the tournament for another year.
The event started on New Years Day and will conclude this weekend with the eighth champion being crowned.
Keen to be seen as not just another college kid game, the World Series aims to test the dexterity,
hand-eye co-ordination and, of course, the alcohol tolerance of the teams involved.
And with a $50,000 first prize up for grabs, there is plenty of motivation to win the event.
