Newcastle’s unique beer festival, Taste of the World, is on again for 2013 with plenty of good beer, delicious food, live music and exciting harness racing on the menu.

Opening night promises to be an exciting start to the festivities with attendees able to watch the trots under lights while sampling the best Australian and International craft beers on offer.

And on the big day, there is plenty of entertainment with Beer and Food Matching Master classes, Meet the Brewer, Educational presentations, Beer and Food Matching and delicious samples.

For non-beer drinkers there will be a selection of international award winning wines from famous wineries McGuigan, Tempus Two, and De Bortoli.

There will be plenty to eat with barbeques, seafood, international cuisine, and a selection of cheeses from the Hunter Valley.

For entertainment, there will be local performers and the infamous Bucking Bull Contest, a great way to get involved and win some prizes.

Advanced ticket sales are through the venue and Moshtix, so get inearly and don’t miss out on the fun.
