Arguably one of the toughest things about brewing beer is coming up with a good name for the brew once it’s ready. In some instances, it’s pretty obvious what it needs to be called… but sometimes, the name can be the hardest thing to provide.

Here in Australia and New Zealand, we’re very lucky – our brewers are bloody good at naming their beers, and there are some absolute corkers among them. War and Peat, from Bacchus Brewing is a personal favourite of mine (it’s a Russian Imperial Stout that’s been aged in Bruichladdich whisky barrels).
