The Sail & Anchor pub wants their punters and craft beer fans to “Party like a Viking” at their Winter Solstice party on Friday 21 June 2013.
The party will also see the launch of the Dark Month Dark Beer Festival in the snow covered beer hall at the venue.
Fans of not just dark brews but also the Vikings of brewing –Nøgne Ø andTOØL – should scramble to try the10 huge, dark guest beers on tap and hand pump. There will also beBlaecorn Unidragon, a very well regarded Imperial Stout by Clown Shoes Beer (US).
The party is free to enter with those dressed as Vikings being given a free “gift”. There will also be mulled wine, warm cider and mead, as well as meat roasting on an open fire.
