There has been a slew of new promos recently that, rather than just asking drinkers to buy their beer in the hops of winning, ask punters to commit to a choice before entering the competition.

First Tooheys Extra Dry Asked people if the wanted to “Bank it or Blow it” – i.e. spend $75,000 in a week or collect $100,000 in a year’s time. Now, however, Pure Blonde has decided to test Australians’ assertion that “we always do the right thing, and if faced with the choice we would share our success with friends”.

So, comp entrants can choose to keep their prize or pay it forward… without knowing what the prize is.

So, potentially, a generous mate could gift their friend with Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe – just one of the prizes in the more than $1 million prize pool. Or someone else might decide to keep it, and find themselves the proud owner of a new Macbook Air, a Chapelli Classic fixie bike, or a snaplock bottle cooler.

So what do you get for giving your prize away? Your name up in lights on the Pure Blonde website and Facebook page and maybe you’ll get a shout out from Fitzy and Wippa on NovaFM.
