The 2014 Australian International Beer Awards has beenrun and won, with Western Australia’s Mash Brewing taking the Champion Australian Beer trophy for its Mash AIPA brew.

The other big awards, including the three Champion Australian Brewery trophies, which were all scooped up by Victorian outfits. Champion Large Australian Brewery went to Carlton & United Breweries, Champion Medium Australian to the Brewery Thunder Road Brewing Company and Champion Small Australian Brewery went to 3 Ravens.

This year’s awards were a hard-fought affair, with more than 1500 beers on the judging table that needed to be sorted through and judged. We’ll have a full wrap up of the judging and presentation event in the next issue of Beer & Brewer. In the meantime, the full list of winners appears below.
