Theisland2island Beverage Company has won a long-term contract to distribute international beer brand San Miguel in Australia.
The deal will see island2island distribute San Miguel’s flagship beer Pale Pilsen, with other brands soon to follow.
Commenting on the deal, San Miguel Beer International Ltd. managing director Carlos Berba said, “Australia is an important and developing market for us and we are confident our partnership will deliver the opportunity many Australian beer drinkers have been asking for – to have easy access to San Miguel beer.”
island2island managing director Les Page explained his company was excited by the opportunity to add San Miguel to its portfolio of premium brands.
“San Miguel will sit very comfortably alongside our other brands as it mirrors our values of heritage and excellent quality,” Page said.
“We plan to put San Miguel back on the map and give it the attention it deserves. It’s a hugely popular beer brand and one that historically Australians have embraced.”
San Miguel Pale Pilsen is one of the best-known beer brands in Southeast Asia. It is a pale golden lager with a rich, full-bodied flavour.
