The charitable organisation inGrained Foundation established by Stone & Wood in 2018 has announced applications for its 2022 Northern Rivers Large Grants Program are opening soon with a total funding pool of $200,000 availableup from the $125,000 donated last year.

As the broader region that the inGrained Foundation focuses its resources on faces enormous challenges after the recent flood disaster, it is encouraging applications from not-for-profits with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) from both the Northern Rivers
and Clarence Valley regions. They will be able to apply for a grant between $5,000 and $30,000.

This year the Foundation are seeking to support projects that fall into the following
categories:

  • Conservation of natural resources and habitats.
  • Action on climate change.
  • Mental health and wellbeing.
  • Accommodation and homelessness.
  • Inclusion and diversity.

To be successful, applicants must operate within one of these categories and be able to provide information on how the inGrained funds will have a tangible outcome for the community.

James Perrin from the inGrained Foundation said: “We are excited to offer this Northern Rivers grants round for the fourth year running. In these unprecedented times, we look forward to learning about the incredible work that our community organisations are doing, and supporting the region as best we can”.

Founded as a separate not-for-profit by Stone & Wood Brewing Co (Fermentum Group) in 2018, the inGrained Foundation works to attract, generate and direct donations to grassroots charities. In 2021, the foundation donated over $125,000 via the Large Grants Program process.

Recipients last year were: Agape Outreach; Bangalow Koalas; Byron Community Centre; Community Owned Renewable Energy Mullumbimby (COREM); and Green Heroes and Human Nature Adventure Therapy.

From Monday 4 April, Northern Rivers social and environmental not-for-profits with DGR status are encouraged to read the guidelines and apply before Friday 29 April, by visiting www.ingrainedfoundation.com.au year to assist not-for-profits in both the Northern Rivers and Clarence Valley regions of NSW.
