All beer served up in the Mt Olympus ski field bar in Canterbury is Stoke by the McCashin Family in Nelson … but deliveries are a little unorthodox these days… They place big orders (naturally) run them out to the base of the mountain, and then fly them up by helicopter to the thirsty skiers who are hanging out 1640m above sea level.
The last order took 7 helicopter trips. Some people will do anything for beer.
