In an announcement to the ASX, contract brewing stalwart Gage Roads has announced that they have executed an exclusive brewing agreement with the successful South Australia-based craft brewer, McLaren Vale.
The deal concerns the production of the brewery’s bottled product – including the highly popular Vale Ale, Vale Dark and Vale IPA – with kegs of McLaren Vale product continue being produced in South Australia.
In the statement Gage Roads welcomed McLaren Vale as one of the first steps to fulfilling their newly expanded brewery’s production capacity. Gage Roads will begin brewing in March of this year.
Earlier this month, Gage Roads also revealed exclusive contracts with both the Duckstein Brewery in Margaret River – completing the first production run of their First Batch Pilsner in 500mL bottle format – and the San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation – a joint venture that will predominantly create products for the export market.
