It’s a hearty ‘s dnem rozhdeniya’ for BentSpoke Brewing Co as they celebrate their sixth birthday today with the release of a new Russian Imperial Stout.
The Canberra brewery has delivered five previous versions of the Descent RIS, and Descent 20, which has been aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months, is also the latest in its Bending Spoke series (10% ABV, 72 IBU).
It’s available now from their brewpub and online nationally here. Early bird buyers will receive a limited edition sixth birthday BentSpoke glass.
“Descent 20, like its five predecessors, requires plenty of composure, a little birthday magic and a nice warm fire to get you to the bottom of this beer,” co-founder and head brewer Richard Watkins said.
