The Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the pre-eminent showcase for premium beer and brewing excellence in the Asia Pacific region, attracting an extraordinary number of entries from both local and international breweries.
Presented annually by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) in conjunction with the University of Ballarat, judging was conducted at Melbourne Showgrounds, with the Awards Presentation Dinner being held at Peninsula, Docklands during Good Beer Week in Melbourne, Australia.
The AIBA Presentation Dinner is the Australian beer industry’s night of nights. Start the night tasting an amazing array of beers entered into this year’s competition, then be in the room when the best beers and breweries are announced. A three course meal designed by Chris Badenoch of Josie Bones will be matched to the 2012 AIBA medal winning beers followed by the official Awards Presentation.
