Re:International beers brewed in Australia - 2008/03/08 04:19 true, i was at dan murphys the other day and noticed that they had imported becks. my suspicion was aroused by cases that had been taped back up (after the bottles had stickers containing std drink info etc on them) i picked up a single to taste cause i havent tried the real becks before.

has anyone else noticed this step in the right direction? i went to dan murphys tuggeranong (in south canberra).

We don't have a Dan Murphys in Tassie...I don't know if we'll ever get one. But if they are actually starting to bring in the 'real deal' then that's fantastic.

I've noticed the BWS has been bring in beer from other countries but they are in mini Kegs. I'm not a big fan of kegs though so I haven't purchased any yet.

Re:International beers brewed in Australia - 2008/09/26 11:11 Maryborough in Queensland Australia now holds the Guinness Book of Records award for the world’s largest pubcrawl. Last month the town of 26000 residents hit the 10 pubs in town to smash the record which was held by London with 3156 registered participants.
