Brew on Premises - 2008/03/11 21:45 Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone out there is drinking beer made at any of the many brew on premises that seem to be popping up all over the place?

I've been using one in Brisbane for the last 2 years and I've never looked back. I'm almost dissappointed to go to a bottlo these days. (except for the odd sampling of a new beer of course)

We too have a Brew Premise in my local town. Unfortunately I’ve used it a few times now with great disappointment. The beer comes out with great flavour but when I’ve canned or bottled it, it comes out flat. I have tried a friend’s brew from the same place, who puts it in kegs and it comes out perfect. It seems that the owner of the premise doesn't know how to gas the cans and bottles properly. Personally I love the variety that I can create brewing it myself.

In spite of all of this the main objective of drinking is to enjoy the experience, and if you are getting everything you want out of your brews then why stop.

Cheers!

Re:Brew on Premises - 2008/04/22 05:34 Good one. They should give you a sample or two. My favourite is the Dr Doolittle which is a little creatures pale ale clone, but I haven't had a bad one yet.

If you do end up going in there, tell them melvy told you about it.
