home brew club - Northern Beaches of Sydney - 2007/03/25 14:58 Recently attended the Northern Beaches Home Brew Club's quarterly meeting last Friday night which was great to see the home brew market growing. I'm not a home brewer, so brought along some beers in the fridge like Byron Bay lager, Matilda Bay Alpha, Staropramen, James Squires Hops Thief, Westmalle Dubel, DeKonninck and swapped them for the home brews - the winner on the night was a 4 year old chocolate stout which was smooth and warming, quite a privelage to taste such an old brew.

Re:home brew club - Northern Beaches of Sydney - 2008/06/19 19:47 Next instalment of the NBHBA (Northern Beaches Home Brew Association) happening this w/end (June 2008).

Some of the stuff we will be getting up to includes taste testing one another's brews, some blind tastings, putting down a brew together (to drink at the next meeting), watch the rugby, talk about a few tips and tricks, and basically use it as an excuse to get together for a drink!



Anyone interested, pls put up a post. Non-brewers are welcome.
