BentSpoke Brewing Co. has been named Best New Venue at the 2015 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) ACT Hospitality Awards.
“It’s wonderful to receive recognition for all the hard work put in by our entire team,” said owner and head brewer Richard Watkins after the awards ceremony.
Located in the heart of Braddon, Canberra, BentSpoke created an impressive 34 different brews in its first year of operation and served in the order of 160,000L of beer and cider.
The microbrewery and taphouse recently celebrated its first birthday, launching four new beers to commemorate the milestone.
Since opening, BentSpoke has also given back to the community by sponsoring organisations including the Canberra Roller Derby League, M16 ArtSpace and Australian National Capital Artists.
